Noel Klein shut down the IceBreakers early in the game as they started with the early pressure. Cai Davis settled the team down by putting the Flyers up 1-0 at 6:49 into the game. The goal was a sniper that hit the weak side post that was set up by Elliott Mohre and John Pfeiffer. Turnstone went up 2-0 early in the 2nd as Cai Davis almost had a wrap-a-round goal that kicked out to Tanner Pfeiffer who got the shot and Mohre tipped it in for the ultimate game winner. Cincinnati had a lot of fight left in them as they cut the lead to 1-2 with 3:16 left in the game. The IceBreakers continued to attach but the Flyers trap defense was able to minimize their chances.
